The Peak Experience.

The road leading to the Camp and the Marvin Pass Trailhead parking lot are maintained by the National Forest Service.
The first 10.3 miles off of highway 180 are paved, and the last 2.5 miles of the road to the Marvin Pass trailhead parking lot (for the one mile access hike) are unpaved. Most sedans will be fine on this road, a sport utility vehicle is not necessary. However, the road is not recommended for low lying vehicles (such as a sports car).
Please take caution while driving these backcountry roads. You may encounter wildlife and/or other vehicles sharing a road that is extremely narrow in some spots. If you have any questions about road access, please call us at 866-654-2877.
